The Confusion Early Season
March 19th thru April 19th 2009
This is truly the early bird gets the worm time of the year on Lake Michigan. A great time for Coho Salmon and Brown Trout. Occasionally Kings, Steelies & Lakers too. Typically an onshore fishery though at times we also venture offshore. Dress warm though we have heat on the “Confusion”.

April 10th thru May 26th 2009
Coho Salmon! What else can I say. With few exceptions this is the fastest fishing of the year with fast surface action on young Spring Coho’s. From April 20th until May 26th I have all 3 “Confusion” boats located here for this great fishing. Book Early!

Main Season May 27th thru October 12th
Kings, Cohos, Browns, Steelhead And Lakers. That is what it is all about. Need I say any more? There is no better fishery than Lake Michigan and Northpoint Marina has a lot to offer all Summer long. The “Confusion” heads to Waukegan after October 8th and the “Confusion Too” then joins the “Confusion 3” on October 13th in Northpoint Marina thru October 31st 2009. The Confusion Too-Main Season
Main Season October 8th thru November 10th 2009
Salmon, Trout and Perch charters out of Downtown Chicago. It doesn’t get any better. “The Confusion Too” is located 10 minutes from any downtown hotel and journeys offshore to provide great action all Summer long. We offer trips 7 days a week and also provide the boat for evening shoreline cruises as well.

Late Season October 10th thru November 10th 2008
Late Season charter fishing for “The Confusion” is primarily for a target fishery for Giant Fall Spawning Lake Trout. The Lakers spawn this time of the year and there are a number of offshore glacial limestone reefs that we fish this time of the year and produce great catches of Lake Trout. There are also Yellow Perch, Brown Trout & King Salmon available but most trips are set up for Lakers. .
